Going-to-the-Sun Alpenglow

This piece was painted en plein air during the Plein Air Glacier event, off Going-to-the-Sun Road, near the Jackson Glacier turnoff. I loved how the silhouetted trees framed the foreground and added a strong contrast to the bright orange light of the illuminated mountain beyond. Those blue shadows just pop- stunning!
