One More St Mary Sunset

Perched high above St Mary, I watched the last light of the day stretch across the lake while the surrounding mountains settled into layers of deep blue. Streaks of coral, pink, and gold swept across the evening sky and reflected on the water far below. I painted this view en plein air from the same overlook that inspired Already Missing St Mary- one of those Glacier places that makes it especially difficult to pack up the easel and leave.
